BLW 02 - The Wind

A woven straw hat floats above dark green trees against a clear turquoise-blue sky. The handwritten words “Today the wind took my hat” tell a small story of childhood, where an ordinary gust of wind turns a cherished gift into something suddenly beyond your reach.

The day you step out of your home with a dear gift, excited to spend the day with it. The gust of wind just carries it away and you watch it fly. It reminds me of how childhood is like and inability to protect that gift taken by the breeze.
